In just two days, Destiny: Rising will host its first Gauntlet Onslaught World First Race. For those who missed our previous coverage of this epic challenge, you can catch up [here].
Today, we're excited to reveal the prizes awaiting the most skilled Gauntlet Onslaught Teams. When the race begins on September 19th at 9:00 AM PT, the first team of six Lightbearers to conquer all three stages of Eclipse will earn the coveted World First Champion Ring—a symbol of their historic achievement.

But that's not all. The top 5 teams to complete the race will each receive an exclusive Gauntlet Onslaught: Eclipse World First Race commemorative pin, honoring their place among the elite who conquered this challenge in its opening hours.

In order to participate and win the First Race prizes, players must follow the Official Rules listed below.

OFFICIAL RULES - DESTINY: RISING GAUNTLET ONSLAUGHT: ECLIPSE WORLD FIRST RACE

1. PARTICIPATION
Anyone participating in or wishing to participate in the Destiny: Rising Gauntlet Onslaught: Eclipse World First Race (the "Contest") is referred to in these Official Rules as a "Participant." BY ENTERING AND PARTICIPATING THIS CONTEST, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF NETEASE GAMES, WHICH SHALL BE FINAL IN ALL RESPECTS. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins September 19, 2025, at 9:00 AM Pacific Time and ends when the first 5 fireteams successfully completes Eclipse (the "Contest Period"). The dates and times specified in these Official Rules are based on Pacific Standard Time.

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The Contest is open only to Participants who meet the following requirements as of the start of the Contest Period:
3.1 Must be at least 13 years of age.
If any person is or will be under the age of legal majority where they live at the start of the Contest Period, they must:

• i. obtain permission from their parent or legal guardian to participate; and
• ii. their parent or guardian must agree to these Official Rules on their behalf.

3.2 NetEase Games reserves the right to add, modify or change a Participant's eligibility including residency requirements as per applicable laws and regulations at any time.
3.3 Exclusions: Participants cannot be (a) an employee of NetEase Games, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, or related companies; or (b) an immediate family member or household member of anyone in category (a).

4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
During the Contest Period, assemble a fireteam of six players and launch Eclipse from the activity selection menu. One fireteam member must meet the necessary in-game requirements to access the Gauntlet Onslaught activity.
The fireteam must complete all 3 stages of the activity. The team's official completion will be recorded when the final stage is completed and verified by our systems.
Please note:

• To be considered a valid completion in the race, the original team member must finish all three stages from start to finish in one run. This means that the same six players must participate together for all three stages of the Gauntlet Race. If, for any unforeseen reason, a team member is unable to continue after clearing Stage 1, the team must restart Stage 1 with a new replacement member and complete all three stages to achieve a valid score.

• All participants will be counted towards the top 5 leaderboard only once. In the unlikely event that a player appears in multiple top 5 teams, only their first record will be considered valid; any subsequent records will not be valid, and the latter team will be disqualified from the race.

5. PRIZES
WORLD FIRST PRIZE (6 Rings available, 1 for each Participant in the first team):

• Custom Championship Ring
• Approximate Retail Value: $500 USD per ring ($3,000 in total)

TOP 5 COMPLETION PRIZE (30 Pins available, 1 for each Participant in the top 5 teams):

• Commemorative Eclipse Pin
• Approximate Retail Value: $25 USD per pin ($750 in total)

6. PRIZE FULFILLMENT
Physical prizes will be delivered to winners at addresses provided during verification. Winners shall fill out shipping information as required within [ 10 ] working days upon receiving in-game notification. Noncompliance or inaccurate information will result in disqualification. World First Prize may take up to 6 months to fulfill due to ring size customization requirements. If NetEase Games determines, at its sole discretion, that a prize notification is ignored, prize is returned as undeliverable, prize goes unclaimed or is forfeited, or if the winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these rules then the winner will be disqualified, and the prize may be forfeited.
Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes, reporting requirements and fees.
 

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
NetEase Games reserves the right to disqualify participants for rule violations, misconduct, fraud, cheating, or actions that compromise contest integrity or which NetEase Games finds objectionable for any reason. The Contest may be modified, suspended or cancelled due to technical issues or circumstances beyond our control.
 

8. LIABILITY RELEASE
By participating, each Participant waives all right to, and hold the NetEase Games harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, except where prohibited by law. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS CONTEST, INCLUDING PRIZE COMPONENTS, ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

9. LICENSES AND PERMISSION: By participating, each Participant represents and warrants that they meet all eligibility criteria for participation in the Contest. In addition, each Participant grants NetEase Games an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive worldwide license to publish, post, display, copy, distribute, transmit, edit, use alone, together or with other works, and otherwise exploit the Contest process and results, Participants’ NetEase account ID and account name, profile, prize information, and any other indicia of persona in any manner whatsoever throughout the world, including on the Internet, and at any time or times, in connection with the Contest, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter discovered, without additional compensation, review or approval rights, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law, and you releases NetEase Games from any and all liability related thereto.
