Dear Lightbearers,
To provide a better experience, we will perform update maintenance on 11/06/2025 at 00:45:00 AM (UTC-8) (Note: Maintenance time has changed due to Daylight Savings; additionally, in order to ensure cross-server play is enabled without issue, we will be starting maintenance ahead of time), during which the Destiny: Rising servers will be down and Lightbearers will be unable to log in to the game. Please schedule your game time accordingly.
 
Maintenance Duration & Compensation:
Duration: Starts on 11/06/2025 at 00:45:00 AM (UTC-8) and is estimated to take 4 hours.
Compensation: 200 Lumia Leaves
Eligibility: Lightbearers who created an account before maintenance began and who have logged in within the past week.
The compensation will be issued to Lightbearers via mail, so be sure to check and claim it.

Update Content:
I. New Season 2, Season of the Moor Starts
● Season Duration: After the maintenance on 11/06 – 01/01/2026 at 04:00:00 (UTC-8) (adjusted for Daylight Savings)
● Seasonal Modifier: Once the season starts, the cycle modifier will be changed to Void and Arc. Combatants in The Expanse, Calamity Ops, and Challenge Mode activities will have Void and Arc shields. Void and Arc characters and
● Seasonal Pact Available: The S2 Pact, Loner's Compass, grants Lightbearers powerful enhancements. Once the season starts, every 20,000 Team XP gained grants 1 Pact Point, which can be used to upgrade the enhancement.
The new seasonal buffs are Luminescent Shield, Fatal Glow, and Garrotte.
● Season Engrams Available: S2 Season of the Moor Engrams will now be available for Lightbearers to acquire and decrypt. Season of the Moor Engrams contain multiple season-exclusive cosmetics, including "Launch Test," Dvergar Drill seasonal ornaments, Moor Decals, and more.
● Seasonal Collection: Acquire all collectibles available during Season of the Moor to receive the season-exclusive "Lone Gun" emblem and unlock the Season Sigil for your Homepage.

II. New Character
Mythic Character: Maru, Starbound Pirate
A legendary pirate Lightbearer, hearty and seasoned, fierce and unyielding.
● Element: Void
● Role: Offense
● Weapons: Light Grenade Launcher, Grenade Launcher
● Maru's character quest will become available alongside Maru's arrival. Complete it within the time frame to claim rewards including "Bon Voyage" Charms and Incandescence Ribbons.

III. New Events
1. Limited-Time Draw "Triumphant Voyage" Starts
● Duration: Starts after maintenance ends on 11/06 and is available for 28 days
● The Mythic character acquired from the event is guaranteed to be Maru!
● Legendary characters available from this event are Xuan Wei, Attal, and Ikora.
※ This draw event is a limited-time draw event. Guarantees are shared between all limited-time draw events.
※ A Character Trial will be available during the limited-time draw event. Lightbearers may use the trial character in the specified activity. Rewards are available for successful completion!

2. Limited-Time Season of the Moor Purchase Bonuses Event Starts
● Duration: After the maintenance on 11/06 – 01/01/2026 at 04:00:00 (UTC-8)
● Event Intro: During the event, receive valuable rewards corresponding to cumulative Silver amounts purchased.
● Rewards:
① Purchase to claim "Bon Voyage" Charm L.E., Black Market Coins, Amorphous Dice, Singularity Prisms, Miraculous Dice, and more.
② Singularity Prisms can be exchanged in the Cosmic Collection shop for Incandescence Clusters, the permanent Exotic emblem "Heirs", the Exotic Ghost shell "Seeds of Hope," the Exotic Sparrow "Branch of Light," Wolf's Exotic Relic ornament "Cleaved Futurity," and Wolf's Exotic character ornament "Successor"!

4. Limited-Time Challenge Event "Season Guide" Starts

● Event Intro: Season of the Moor has begun! Follow the Season Guide to experience all the new content and claim excellent rewards!
This event is divided into 3 main modules—Gauntlet: Blitz, Season Updates, and Shifting Gates. Complete the guide challenges to earn Steadfast Seals and raise your Season of the Moor progress. Reach milestones to claim season progress rewards!

V. Season of the Moor Act 1 Battle Pass Update
● Duration: After the maintenance on 11/06 – 12/04 at 04:00:00 (UTC-8)
● New Content:
1. The new Exotic Light Grenade Launcher: Dvergar Drill has been added to the Battle Pass!
2. Unlock the Premium Battle Pass to claim emote "Stow Sword" at Rank 20, emote "Combo Attack" at Rank 30, and the Dvergar Drill Ornament Random Bundle at Rank 50.
3. Unlock Premium Battle Pass Plus to instantly claim the transmat effect, "Paraversal Singularity."
4. Added new artifact material: Amorphous Dice to the Premium Battle Pass. This item lets you randomly edit artifact attributes.
5. Added Amorphous Dice to the Battle Pass Exotic Shop. They can be acquired by exchanging Battle Pass Weapon Tokens.

VI. Optimizations & Adjustments
1. Combat & Balancing Adjustments
● [Weapon Mods] We've added some long-awaited perk upgrades to the Exotic mod upgrade system! Additions for different weapon categories are as follows:
Rapid-Fire Weapons: Auto-Loading Holster, Trinklieder, and Clepsydra.
Piercing Weapons: Synesthesia (Piercing), Trinklieder, Syncopation, and Pranayama.
Impact Weapons: Synesthesia (Impact), Facilitated Agreement, Spinosaurus Shots, All Comers Welcome, and Coup de Grâce.
● [Weapons] Added a flowing light texture to the model of Exotic Shotgun: Octant Riot Disperser that takes effect after switching to volley mode.
● [Weapons] Starting with Season 2, the temporary seasonal Gear Lv.85 will be changed to be shared by all identical weapons. During the season, the first time a weapon reaches Gear Lv.85, all weapons of the same name that have reached Gear Lv.80 will automatically be upgraded to Gear Lv.85. With this change, Lightbearers can use their Metastable Cores with greater confidence!
● [Characters] Jolder's Retribution stacks will now be deducted based on each shot/attack. Subsequent damage dealt by weapons will generally not trigger the deduction.

2. Activity Additions & Optimizations
● [Shifting Gates] All-New Seasonal Update "Vex Incursion" Starts
① New Mechanics: Emergencies have been added. A random Emergency will trigger at the beginning of each match and last for the entire match, completely changing the pace of the battle. Emergency Modifiers have also been added. A random modifier will be chosen during matchmaking, giving Lightbearers a buff.
② New Combatants: Added 3 new Vex bosses accompanied by ever-growing hordes of Vex units.
③ New Environments: Added 3 all-new environments.
④ New Rewards:
All-new Mythic weapons have been added to the rewards pool, including Grenade Launcher: Tsurinobuse, Hand Cannon: Empty Fort Strategy, and Shotgun: Thermoplyae-80.
● Shifting Gates Exchange Shop: Added Grenade Launcher: Tsurinobuse, Hand Cannon: Empty Fort Strategy, and Shotgun: Thermoplyae-80 to the shop. Each weapon can be redeemed 10 times until 11/20/2025 at 04:00:00 for 6 Translation Credits each. (Afterwards, each of these weapons can be redeemed once per week for 20 Translation Credits each.)
● [Gauntlet: Blitz] Limited-Time Direct Access Available for New Stages "Assembly Plant," "Overflow," and "The Walls Have Eyes."
① During the event, clear the stages to acquire the newly added Mythic weapons, including Hand Cannon: Parole, Grenade Launcher: Tsurinobuse, Rocket Launcher: Four-horned Ram, Hand Cannon: Empty Fort Strategy, Shotgun: Thermoplyae-80, and Auto Rifle: Wrongful Ingress.
② Once limited-time direct access has ended, the new stages will be added to the randomized pool, and weapon drop rates will return to normal.

3. New Features & System Improvements
● [Synthesis] Added Mythic Weapon Engram - Gauntlet: Blitz (S2)
① This engram yields the new Season 2 Mythic weapons: Hand Cannon: Parole, Grenade Launcher: Tsurinobuse, Rocket Launcher: Four-horned Ram, Hand Cannon: Empty Fort Strategy, Shotgun: Thermoplyae-80, and Auto Rifle: Wrongful Ingress.
② Consume 200 Mythic Weapon Parameters to craft the engram.
③ These engrams are Season 2 exclusive items and will no longer be produced once the season ends.
④ Once Season 2 ends, the aforementioned weapons will be added to the standard Mythic Weapon Engrams.
● [Dismantling] Adjusted the rules for dismantling equipped Exotic mods. Now, equipped Exotic mods are returned when dismantled. The loss of materials spent for mod refinement remains the same as it was pre-adjustment.
● [Sparrows] Reduced the unnecessary hovering actions for Sparrows.
● [Weapon Spray] All weapons of the Coherence foundry can now use the foundry's exclusive spray.
● [AFK Detection] In order to create a better matchmaking environment, we've added AFK detection rules while in stages.

4. Economy & Resource Cost
● [New Item] Added artifact materials:
① Miraculous Dice: Allows for targeted editing of an artifact's attributes.
② Amorphous Dice: Allows for random editing of an artifact's attributes.
● [Rewards] Switched the Reputation rewards for bounties to Season of the Moor Engrams.
● [Rewards] Added Amorphous Dice to the Fortuna Shop. Up to 3 can be purchased with Fortuna Crystals per month.

VII. Fixed Issues
● [Character Abilities] Fixed the description of Umeko's Signature Ability: Voidstep, adding that her reload and movement speed are will be increased while Voidstep is active.
● [Leaderboards] Fixed an issue in which percentages wouldn't display properly on the Morgran's Prey leaderboard.
